约伯记 Job 41

1 "Can you draw out Leviathan with a fishhook? Or press down its tongue with a cord?
1 你能用鱼钩钓上鳄鱼吗。能用绳子压下它的舌头吗。

2 Can you put a rope in its nose? Or pierce its jaw with a hook?
2 你能用绳索穿它的鼻子吗。能用钩穿它的腮骨吗。

3 Will it make many supplications to you? Or will it speak to you soft words?
3 它岂向你连连恳求，说柔和的话吗。

4 Will it make a covenant with you? Will you take it for a servant forever?
4 岂肯与你立约，使你拿它永远作奴仆吗。

5 Will you play with it as with a bird? Or will you bind it for your maidens?
5 你岂可拿它当雀鸟玩耍吗。岂可为你的幼女将它拴住吗。

6 Will the traders bargain over it? Will they divide it among the merchants?
6 搭伙的渔夫岂可拿它当货物吗。能把它分给商人吗。

7 Can you fill its skin with harpoons, or its head with fishing spears?
7 你能用倒钩枪扎满它的皮，能用鱼叉叉满它的头吗。

8 Lay your hand on it; remember the battle; you will not do it again!
8 你按手在它身上，想与它争战，就不再这样行吧。

9 Behold, your expectation is false; will you be laid low even at the sight of it?
9 人指望捉拿它是徒然的。一见它，岂不丧胆吗。

10 No one is so fierce that he dares to stir it up; who then is he who can stand before Me?
10 没有那么凶猛的人敢惹它。这样，谁能在我面前站立得住呢。

11 Who has given to Me that I should repay him? Whatever is under the whole heaven is Mine.
11 谁先给我什么，使我偿还呢。天下万物都是我的。

12 "I will not keep silence concerning its limbs, or its mighty strength, or its orderly frame.
12 论到鳄鱼的肢体和其大力，并美好的骨骼，我不能缄默不言。

13 Who can strip off its outer armor? Who can come within its double mail?
13 谁能剥它的外衣。谁能进它上下牙骨之间呢。

14 Who can open the doors of its face? Around its teeth there is terror.
14 谁能开它的腮颊。它牙齿四围是可畏的。

15 Its strong scales are its pride, shut up tightly as with a seal.
15 它以坚固的鳞甲为可夸，紧紧合闭，封得严密。

16 One is so near to another that no air can come between them.
16 这鳞甲一一相连，甚至气不得透入其间，

17 They are joined one to another; they clasp each other and cannot be separated.
17 都是互相联络，胶结，不能分离。

18 Its sneezes flash forth light, and its eyes are like the eyelids of the morning.
18 它打喷嚏就发出光来。它眼睛好像早晨的光线。

19 Out of its mouth go burning torches; sparks of fire leap forth.
19 从它口中发出烧着的火把，与飞迸的火星。

20 Out of its nostrils smoke goes forth as from a boiling pot and burning rushes.
20 从它鼻孔冒出烟来，如烧开的锅和点着的芦苇。

21 Its breath kindles coals, and a flame goes forth from its mouth.
21 它的气点着煤炭，有火焰从它口中发出。

22 In its neck lodges strength, and dismay leaps before it.
22 它颈项中存着劲力。在它面前的都恐吓蹦跳。

23 The folds of its flesh are joined together, firm on it and immovable.
23 它的肉块互相联络，紧贴其身，不能摇动。

24 Its heart is as hard as a stone, hard as the lower millstone.
24 它的心结实如石头，如下磨石那样结实。

25 When it raises itself up, the mighty fear; because of the crashing they are bewildered.
25 它一起来，勇士都惊恐，心里慌乱，便都昏迷。

26 The sword that reaches it cannot avail, nor the spear, the dart, or the javelin.
26 人若用刀，用枪，用标枪，用尖枪扎它，都是无用。

27 It regards iron as straw, bronze as rotten wood.
27 它以铁为干草，以铜为烂木。

28 The arrow cannot make it flee; slingstones are turned into stubble for it.
28 箭不能恐吓它使它逃避。弹石在它看为碎秸。

29 Clubs are regarded as stubble; it laughs at the rattling of the javelin.
29 棍棒算为禾秸。它嗤笑短枪飕的响声。

30 Its underparts are like sharp potsherds; it spreads out like a threshing sledge on the mire.
30 它肚腹下如尖瓦片，它如钉耙经过淤泥。

31 It makes the depths boil like a pot; it makes the sea like a jar of ointment.
31 它使深渊开滚如锅，使洋海如锅中的膏油。

32 Behind it it leaves a shining wake; one would think the deep to be gray-haired.
32 它行的路随后发光，令人想深渊如同白发。

33 Nothing on earth is like it, one made without fear.
33 在地上没有像它造的那样，无所惧怕。

34 It looks on everything that is high; it is king over all the sons of pride."
34 凡高大的，它无不藐视。它在骄傲的水族上作王。
