约伯记 Job 33

1 "However now, Job, please hear my speech, and listen to all my words.
1 约伯啊，请听我的话，留心听我一切的言语。

2 Behold now, I open my mouth, my tongue in my mouth speaks.
2 我现在开口，用舌发言。

3 My words are from the uprightness of my heart, and my lips speak knowledge sincerely.
3 我的言语要发明心中所存的正直。我所知道的，我嘴唇要诚实地说出。

4 The Spirit of God has made me, and the breath of the Almighty gives me life.
4 神的灵造我，全能者的气使我得生。

5 Answer me, if you can; set your words in order before me; take your stand.
5 你若回答我，就站起来，在我面前陈明。

6 Behold, I belong to God like you; I too have been formed out of the clay.
6 我在神面前与你一样，也是用土造成。

7 Behold, no fear of me should terrify you, nor should my pressure weigh heavily on you.
7 我不用威严惊吓你，也不用势力重压你。

8 "Surely you have spoken in my hearing, and I have heard the sound of your words:
8 你所说的，我听见了，也听见你的言语，说：

9 'I am clean, without transgression; I am innocent and there is no guilt in me.
9 我是清洁无过的，我是无辜的。在我里面也没有罪孽。

10 Behold, He invents occasions of hostility against me; He considers me as His enemy.
10 神找机会攻击我，以我为仇敌，

11 He puts my feet in the stocks; He watches all my paths.'
11 把我的脚上了木狗，窥察我一切的道路。

12 Behold, let me tell you, you are not right in this, for God is greater than mortal man.
12 我要回答你说，你这话无理，因神比世人更大。

13 Why do you complain against Him that He does not give an account of all His doings?
13 你为何与他争论呢。因他的事都不对人解说。

14 Indeed God speaks once, or twice, yet no one notices it.
14 神说一次、两次，世人却不理会。

15 In a dream, a vision of the night, when sound sleep falls on men, while they slumber in their beds,
15 人躺在床上沉睡的时候，神就用梦和夜间的异象，

16 Then He opens the ears of men and seals their instruction,
16 开通他们的耳朵，将当受的教训印在他们心上，

17 That He may turn man aside from his conduct and keep man from pride;
17 好叫人不从自己的谋算，不行骄傲的事。

18 He keeps back his soul from the pit, and his life from passing away by the sword.
18 拦阻人不陷于坑里，不死在刀下。

19 "Man is also chastened with pain on his bed, and with unceasing complaint in his bones;
19 人在床上被惩治，骨头中不住地疼痛。

20 So that his life loathes bread, and his soul favorite food.
20 以致他的口厌弃食物，心厌恶美味。

21 His flesh wastes away from sight, and his bones which were not seen stick out.
21 他的肉消瘦，不得再见。先前不见的骨头都凸出来。

22 Then his soul draws near to the pit, and his life to those who bring death.
22 他的灵魂临近深坑。他的生命近于灭命的。

23 If there is an angel as mediator for him, one out of a thousand, to remind a man what is right for him,
23 一千天使中，若有一个作传话的与神同在，指示人所当行的事，

24 Then He is gracious to him and says, 'Deliver him from going down to the pit, I have found a ransom';
24 神就给他开恩，说，救赎他免得下坑。我已经得了赎价。

25 Let his flesh become fresher than in youth, let him return to the days of his youthful vigor;
25 他的肉要比孩童的肉更嫩。他就返老还童。

26 He will pray to God, and He will accept him, that he may see His face with joy, and He may restore His righteousness to man.
26 他祷告神，神就喜悦他，使他欢呼朝见神的面。神又看他为义。

27 He will sing to men and say, 'I have sinned and perverted what is right, and it is not proper for me.
27 他在人前歌唱说，我犯了罪，颠倒是非，这竟与我无益。

28 He has redeemed my soul from going to the pit, and my life shall see the light.'
28 神救赎我的灵魂免入深坑。我的生命也必见光。

29 Behold, God does all these oftentimes with men,
29 神两次、三次向人行这一切的事，

30 To bring back his soul from the pit, that he may be enlightened with the light of life.
30 为要从深坑救回人的灵魂，使他被光照耀与活人一样。

31 Pay attention, O Job, listen to me; keep silent, and let me speak.
31 约伯啊，你当侧耳听我的话，不要作声，等我讲说。

32 Then if you have anything to say, answer me; speak, for I desire to justify you.
32 你若有话说，就可以回答我。你只管说，因我愿以你为是。

33 If not, listen to me; keep silent, and I shall teach you wisdom."
33 若不然，你就听我说。你不要作声，我便将智慧教训你。
