约伯记 Job 18

1 Then Bildad the Shuhite answered,
1 书亚人比勒达回答说，

2 "How long will you hunt for words? Show understanding, and then we can speak.
2 你寻索言语要到几时呢。你可以揣摩思想，然后我们就说话。

3 Why are we regarded as beasts, as stupid in your eyes?
3 我们为何算为畜生，在你眼中看作污秽呢。

4 O you who tear yourself in your anger—for your sake is the earth to be abandoned, or the rock to be moved from its place?
4 你这恼怒将自己撕裂的，难道大地为你见弃，磐石挪开原处吗。

5 "Indeed, the light of the wicked goes out, and the flame of his fire gives no light.
5 恶人的亮光必要熄灭。他的火焰必不照耀。

6 The light in his tent is darkened, and his lamp goes out above him.
6 他帐棚中的亮光要变为黑暗。他以上的灯也必熄灭。

7 His strong stride is shortened, and his own scheme brings him down.
7 他坚强的脚步必见狭窄。自己的计谋必将他绊倒。

8 For he is thrown into a net by his own feet, and he steps on the webbing.
8 因为他被自己的脚陷入网中，走在缠人的网罗上。

9 A snare seizes him by the heel; a trap snaps shut on him.
9 圈套必抓住他的脚跟。机关必擒获他。

10 A noose for him is hidden in the ground, and a trap for him on the path.
10 活扣为他藏在土内。羁绊为他藏在路上。

11 All around terrors frighten him, and harry him at every step.
11 四面的惊吓要使他害怕，并且追赶他的脚跟。

12 His strength is famished, and calamity is ready at his side.
12 他的力量必因饥饿衰败，祸患要在他旁边等候。

13 His skin is devoured by disease; the firstborn of death devours his limbs.
13 他本身的肢体要被吞吃，死亡的长子要吞吃他的肢体。

14 He is torn from the security of his tent, and they march him before the king of terrors.
14 他要从所倚靠的帐棚被拔出来，带到惊吓的王那里。

15 There dwells in his tent nothing of his; brimstone is scattered on his habitation.
15 不属他的必住在他的帐棚里。硫磺必撒在他所住之处。

16 His roots dry up below, and his branch is cut off above.
16 下边，他的根本要枯干。上边，他的枝子要剪除。

17 Memory of him perishes from the earth, and he has no name abroad.
17 他的记念在地上必然灭亡。他的名字在街上也不存留。

18 He is driven from light into darkness, and chased from the inhabited world.
18 他必从光明中被撵到黑暗里，必被赶出世界。

19 He has no offspring or posterity among his people, nor any survivor where he sojourned.
19 在本民中必无子无孙。在寄居之地也无一人存留。

20 Those in the west are appalled at his fate, and those in the east are seized with horror.
20 以后来的要惊奇他的日子，好像以前去的受了惊骇。

21 Surely such are the dwellings of the wicked, and this is the place of him who does not know God."
21 不义之人的住处总是这样。此乃不认识神之人的地步。
